Back4theFuture is a visual and interactive tool designed to spark debate and reflection on the current environmental challenges we face around pollution and the underpinning mainstream perceptions on patterns of consumption and development.

 

By gathering around the canvas, people can collaboratively participate in a dialogue, reappraising ancient knowledge and storytelling. Or better still, introduce new narratives that build stronger environments, societies and regenerative landscapes.

 

 

ACTIONS

• We created a guided workshop and narrative to interact with the canvas and create thoughtful and alternative narratives and storylines drawing from the world we live in.

 

• The canvas was presented as a workshop for teenage students at last year’s Changemakers Event in June 2023.

The creation of new narratives invites us to move away from relationships based on hierarchy, extraction and supremacy. It spurs us to imagine a world where intergenerational, caring, mutually supportive and loving relationships are the basis for creating new realities.
